Wednesday Words: Quiet with Love…

“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exalt over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

It is really easy to be loud during pregnancy.  Everything is different.  You look different, feel different and have more discomforts than any other time in life.  Add to that the excitement of having a baby and being quiet becomes nearly impossible.

However, in the ups and downs of life there is always time for quiet. Times of quiet are what provide rest for body and soul.  Find some time alone, just you and baby.  Rejoice in this moment, be quiet with a heart overflowing with love, sing with words of joy.  This is an amazing moment.

Return to this place often. It is a well of life.

Mom Tip: Start thinking about your schedule post baby.  Start asking a few close friends or family members if they would be willing to babysit for you. Plan to have a break or some quiet alone time the first few weeks after baby is born!
