Wednesday Words: Don’t Panic (Week 16)

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and Godly lives in the present age.” (Titus 2:11-12)

Don’t panic! This very point in the motherhood journey can be overwhelming.  There is so much STUFF out there. Classes you can take, exercises you can do, books you can read and items you must have.

This week be reminded that our job is not to get pulled into all the STUFF surrounding pregnancy and all that is to come.  Our job is to be self-controlled, upright and Godly. Our actions in this way are much more important to God and to our coming child than all the creature comforts in the world!

Take a look at your pregnancy journey.  Where is the worldly taking place of what should be Godly?  How can you be more self-controlled and upright in this area?  Commit this to the Lord today.

Mom Tip: Ask yourself what one item from your baby years means the most to you today. Think of what one item you would like your baby to carry on with them into adulthood and work toward making that happen!
