“Behold You have made my days a few handbreadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath.” Psalm 39:5
I have a mug that says “Life is just so daily”. You might be having that thought about pregnancy about right now. The crazy hormonal high has now become a little more normal. You are on the road to accepting this next phase of life. And you have probably not told a whole lot of people yet the good news.
You might be asking “now what”? And in the midst of that thought busying your self with baby names, thinking of colors you want to decorate in or just doing an obscene amount of internet browsing about babies!
Remember. Sometimes life is just daily but even the daily moments pass quickly. The Psalmist reminds us that our days are nothing compared to eternity. Live in today. Live in the moment. Love in the minute.
Mom Tip: Start making a monthly “baby to do” schedule. Don’t feel like you have to be married to it but start thinking through things you would like to do before baby comes. It will help put the day to day in perspective and help you enjoy the moments when you are not doing baby related things!
